SwingAlerts guide
Why a SwingAlerts alert will not save
Five things we stop, and three we only warn you about.
We do not have that indicator
The six on this page are all of them, for now.
If the one you want is missing, the feedback button is genuinely the fastest way to ask.
An indicator setting is missing or wrong
A length was left blank, or given as words where a number belongs.
A typed number on the left
Levels go on the right. Write "RSI is above 70", not "70 is below RSI".
That is not one of our candle sizes
Seven are supported, from one minute to one day.
A crossing where something has to stay true
A crossing is over in one candle, so it can never hold for a duration.
Move it up to "Trigger when", which is the part of the alert that is about a moment.
Your wait was rounded up
Not a whole number of candles — so we rounded up and saved it anyway.
Ninety minutes on hourly candles becomes two hours. The alert still works; we just say so.
Your wait was shorter than one candle
The shortest wait there is, is one candle — so that is what you got.
No wait, on top of a crossing
You will be told on the crossing candle itself, with nothing held.
Perfectly valid, and sometimes exactly right — but it is worth knowing you asked for it.
