Questions traders ask first

What makes an alert "stateful"?
The engine keeps a running state per rule, so it knows whether a condition has just become true, has held for two hours, or already fired and is waiting to re-arm. A static alert only sees the current bar.
Do I need to write code?
No. Rules are built from dropdowns — ticker, condition, timeframe, duration. If you later want to script or version them, every rule is also editable as JSON.
Which indicators can I use?
The essentials are covered — moving averages, RSI, ATR, VWAP, and Bollinger bands for volatility. Set the period you need, then compare any of them against price, against a level you pick, or against each other. We add indicators as traders ask for them, so let us know if yours is missing.
Which markets and pairs are covered?
Forex, in full — majors, minors and crosses, with every timeframe from 1 minute to 1 day available on any pair. Nothing is held back: the same conditions, indicators and duration rules run on any pair.
Does SwingAlerts place trades?
